Rental Policy

Welcome to Health is Best! By using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Rental Equipment

We offer a variety of mobility aids for rent, including:

• Wheelchairs

• Walkers

• Rollators

• Hospital Beds

• Anti-Bed Sore Crutches

• Shower Chairs with Commode

• Shower Transport Chairs with Commode

• Transfer Bath Benches

• Wheelchair Ramps (2', 3', 4')

2. Rental Period
- Rentals are available for durations of 1 week, 1 month, or 2 months.
- The rental period commences on the start date agreed upon and may be extended by submitting a request at least 48 hours prior to the rental expiry date.
- Extensions are subject to approval by Health is Best.

3. Rental Fees
- Rental fees vary based on the product and duration of the rental period.
- A security deposit worth 25% of the equipment’s value will be added to the total rental fee and refunded within 5 business days upon return of the equipment.
- Payment is required upfront.

4. Use of Equipment
- Equipment must be used carefully and properly, following any provided instructions.
- The Lessee is responsible for ensuring the equipment is not used by unauthorized persons.

5. Maintenance and Repairs
- The Lessee must maintain the equipment in good condition.
- Any repairs due to misuse or negligence will be charged to the Lessee.

6. Return of Equipment
- Equipment must be returned to Health is Best in the same condition as when received, except for ordinary wear and tear.
- Late returns will incur additional rental fees.
- A valid credit card must be kept on file and will be charged for any unreturned equipment or damages.

7. Identification
- A valid credit card and government-issued ID are required for rentals.
- Both the ID and credit card must belong to the Lessee.

8. Liability
- The Lessee assumes all risks and liabilities for the use, operation, and possession of the equipment. Health is Best is not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from the use of the equipment.

9. Indemnification
- The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Health is Best from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the Lessee’s use of the equipment.

10. Governing Law
- This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

11. Entire Agreement
- This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings or agreements, whether written or oral.
